We are recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our customer based in the Wellingborough area. As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring quality standards on all products within the department.

As a Warehouse Supervisor your responsibilities will include;

• Recommending withdrawal and addition of stock as required to meet customer needs
• Monitor and set standards for product packaging
• Ensure all items are clean, undamaged and meet the customers’ expectations
• Oversee department’s resources with the financial budget as well as contributing towards budget and target setting.
• Updating company administrator with all repairs, withdrawals and new additions
• Train and manage staff to ensure daily workloads are met efficiently
• Ensuring all areas are working in line with company Health and Safety policies
• Monitoring staff performances including timekeeping and absences
• Handle disciplinary issues with assistance from Warehouse Manager
• Assist with recruitment & induction of new team members
• Ensuring all items inbound and outbound are accounted for and meeting the company standards

The ideal candidate will have the following;

• MHE Certificate is required
• Previous warehouse supervisor experience is essential
• Flexibility on working hours as additional hours will be required during busy periods
• Catering Knowledge would be beneficial
• Flexi Forklift licence would be beneficial

The Employment package on offer;

• £26,000 – £28,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday 0700 – 1600
• Overtime required during busy periods including weekends
• 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays
